Cofem obtains the UL-EU certification for its A50 smoke detectors
UL-EU certification is among the most recognized in the European Market. This certification, issued by UL Solutions, helps product manufacturers demonstrate that their devices comply with the necessary safety standards to address safety considerations such an electric shock, fire and casualty, which will enhance the protection of users. For this reason, the COFEM team is proud to announce that its A50 smoke detectors have obtained UL-EU certification.
The range of A50 detectors is based on a new, more refined aesthetic that integrates the latest electronic technology with new, more efficient detection algorithms and a three-dimensional design that makes it more robust against environmental dirt. It has multiple combinations between optical, thermal detection and short-circuit isolator certification, all of them with the EN 54 standard series.

The UL-EU Mark offers manufacturers the opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to safety by going the extra step to apply for this voluntary safety Mark and differentiate their products in the marketplace.
The UL-EU Mark demonstrates compliance with European standards and can also be used by the manufacturer to show compliance with relevant European directives, for example, the Low Voltage Directive. Products with this certification can be sold throughout the European Union.
