MSTAY Technical Signals Module, intelligent and reliable monitoring.
Cofem’s MSTAY Module is a microprocessed, addressable analog device designed for easy integration into the control loop. This module allows the management of technical signals, ensuring that any event related to the system is effectively monitored. Like other components in the line, the MSTAY installs without complications, providing continuous reliability in the monitoring and control of critical systems.
Key features
It has two inputs to discern the open or closed state of a dry contact connected in series with a 10kO resistor. The contact must be open in the idle state and closed in the event of a fault. The first input (marked as IN1) detects the closed contact with ALARM category. The second input (marked as IN2) detects the closed contact with a fault category. The two inputs can be associated simultaneously, having both alarm and fault information.
In idle state the MSTAY monitors the outside line by means of a 33kO resistor, indicating open line or crossed line status.
It is typically used to signal the status of other detection systems where there may be a connection of flow sensors in the case of sprinkler installations, limit switches in the case of fire doors, elevators, tank levels, etc.
The blinking of the transparent red LED indicates the communication with the control panel, and if it remains lit, it indicates the alarm status. The green LED lights up to indicate the activation of one or both inputs.
This module has an output for the activation of a remote pilot, which is activated when it is in alarm status. The Technical Signals Module is powered by the connection to the loop.
It is supplied in rectangular modules made of heat-resistant ABS.
The MSTAY module is certified according to EN 54-18 by AENOR, and CE marked according to the European Construction Products Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011.
