KMAY Master Module, centralized and reliable control.
Cofem’s KMAY Master Module is a microprocessed, addressable device designed to be integrated as an essential component of the loop. With short-circuit isolator, it guarantees the stability and reliability of the system by ensuring continuous communication between the different elements. It is easy to install and provides centralized and efficient control, extending the capabilities of the detection system and improving its overall performance.
Key features
This module allows the connection of conventional detectors and/or pushbuttons in an algorithmic-addressable fire detection system, acting as an interface between an algorithmic-addressable control panel and a conventional system.
A maximum of 10 conventional pushbuttons can be installed on the “Zone C” terminal strip. A maximum of 20 temperature detectors (A30XT, A30XV) or 15 elements between smoke detectors (A30XH, A30XHS) and conventional pushbuttons are allowed in the “Zone D” terminal strip. Both strips supervise the line by means of a 10µF/63V end-of-line capacitor. This indicates the status of open line, crossed line, detector alarm or pushbutton alarm.
The blinking of the transparent red LED indicates the communication with the control panel, and if it remains on it indicates the alarm status of a detector or push button connected to this module.
This module has an output for the activation of a remote pilot, which is activated when it is in alarm status. The analog master module is powered by the loop connection.
It is supplied in rectangular modules made of heat-resistant ABS.
The KMAY module is certified according to EN 54-18 by AENOR, and CE marked according to the European Construction Products Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011.
