External power supply (with built-in battery charger) for fire detection, certified according to EN 54-4.

This equipment is especially indicated to adequately power any element of the fire detection system that requires external power supply.

Key features

  • Low profile, overall height less than 53.4 mm (including socket).
  • Also available with high socket for 20 mm pipe.
  • Double red alarm LED, which allows to identify the detector in alarm status from any direction (360º).
  • Possibility of connection to a remote action indicator.
  • Easy connection, no polarity.
  • Indication, by means of LEDs, of the communication with the control panel (single blinking), as well as of the alarm status (LEDs on).
  • Signaling of the sensor’s soiling status on the control panel display (the sensor allows differentiation between rapid signal increases due to alarm and small, slow and sustained increases due to accumulation of dust and dirt).
  • Easy-to-install head and socket, interchangeable across the entire A30X range, and made of heat-resistant white ABS.

Equipment for installing fire detectors in ventilation ducts.

The equipment consists of a box, pipes, socket for fire detector and fasteners (screws, nuts, etc.). The fire detector is not included. The socket is compatible with both conventional and analog detector, so the equipment can be used with both systems. It is generally recommended to install pure smoke detectors (without thermal elements) in this equipment, since heat detectors or thermal elements of optical-thermal detectors can be activated by sudden changes in air temperature in ventilation ducts.

Key features

  • Both fire panels and external power supplies require two 12 Vdc batteries connected in series.

    There are different references according to the capacity required:

    • BT-2402: Set of 2 batteries of 12 Vdc with capacity of 2 Ah.
    • BT-2406: Set of 2 batteries of 12 Vdc with capacity of 6 Ah.
    • BT-2415: Set of 2 batteries of 12 Vdc with capacity of 15 Ah.
    • BT-2424: Set of 2 batteries of 12 Vdc with capacity of 24 Ah.

The PWS is offered installed inside a 418 x 324 x 150 mm box, which provides additional space for the necessary batteries inside the box.

Linear heat detector CTE CTX

The Linear Heat Detector is a proprietary cable that detects heat at any point along its length.

The sensor cable consists of two steel conductors individually insulated with a temperature-sensitive polymer. The insulated conductors are twisted together to create a spring pressure, then wrapped with an outer sheath suitable for the environment in which the detector is to be installed.

At the calibrated temperature, the heat-sensitive insulating polymer yields against the pressure generated by the heat radiation, allowing the inner conductors to contact each other and trigger an alarm signal. This action occurs at any heated point within the length of the detector cable. No specific length is required to be heated to activate the alarm, nor is the system required to be calibrated to compensate for changes in the ambient temperature where it is installed.

The Linear Heat Detector provides the advantages of line coverage with specific point sensitivity.
