MDL1R - MDL2R - MDL-8 Relay Modules
Relay module for fire detection system. This module consists of a relay that controls the output of a dry contact Normally Open (NO) Normally Closed (NC), unsupervised.
This arrangement allows to control as a typical application the triggering of door electromagnets and fire dampers in conventional fire detection systems, either through the power supply of the control panel or through External Power Supplies (EPS).
The equipment is very simple and easy to install.
The relay module circuit is mounted on a plastic base, which has adhesive tapes that allow it to be conveniently fixed in the most convenient place, taking advantage of the space available in the control panels, Power Supplies (FAE), etc., following the normal distribution of the installation wiring.
In addition, the relay module contains a safety fuse on the dry contact side.
Three versions of modules are available depending on the number of relays contained on the base:
- MDL1R: Module consisting of 1 relay.
- MDL2R: Module consisting of 2 relays.
- CDM-8: Module consisting of 8 relays.

A30XBI adapter socket
To facilitate the task of upgrading the TC25/A system to the Lyon system (and in general, the conventional system), Cofem has an “interconnection base”, which allows the detectors of the analog and conventional system to be placed directly on the sockets of superior systems without the need to change or rewire the sockets.
In this way, if the wiring and sockets of the installation are in good condition, a quick, simple and very economical upgrade of the system can be carried out, based on the replacement of the fire detection and alarm control panel and its detectors.
The A30XBI adapter can be used with conventional and analog detectors, and are supplied configured in relation to the detectors to be replaced.
