Automatic sprinklers

Automatic sprinklers
Sprinklers are automatic fire extinguishing systems that are activated by a rise in temperature caused by a fire. They are controlled by an alarm and control station, which is also in charge of activating the fire alarm.
Key features
Temperature and color range (of the bulb):
- Red: 68ºC
- Yellow: 79ºC
- Green: 93ºC
- Blue: 141ºC
- Black: 260ºC
Devices for sprinkler systems:
Alarm and control equipment for sprinkler system. Water remains pressurized in the piping and is released over the fire area after the sprinkler is activated due to the fire.
The pressure switch sends the alarm information to the fire warning system or automation system.
After the pressure switch is activated, water is passed to the water motor gong and activates a mechanical alarm.
Butterfly valve used as a shut-off valve for water supply lines to disconnect zones in a sprinkler network.

Extinction by SOYUZ

Extinction by SOYUZ
The system is based on the placement of SOYUZ generators in the passenger compartment to be protected, which, when electrically activated, burn a pyrotechnic mixture that generates an aerosol finally diffused by the environment composed of potassium carbonate (K2CO3), which is a NON TOXIC substance that intervenes by eliminating the formation of the radicals that appear associated with the fire and absorbing its combustion energy, so that the fire is extinguished.
This system has the additional advantage that it does not displace oxygen from the site, so that people are not in danger of suffocation.
The generators are triggered by a fire detection and alarm control panel with EN 12094 certified extinguishing functionality with thermal probes inside the hood, stop and trigger buttons, extinguishing signs, and sirens, etc., as required by the installation.
The system can be used for the protection of kitchen hoods, data processing centers, special equipment, etc.
Key features
System design
1- Calculate the number of SOYUZ generators.
a) Flooding:
- Calculate the actual flood volume and add 20% safety.
- Each 300 g generator protects 6 m3.
b) By application on surfaces:
- The generator directed towards the surface generates a cone of diameter 0.9 m at 1.5 m distance. Therefore, each 300 g generator protects 0.63 m2.
- In fume hoods:
- Protection of the hood filter.
- Hot spot protection.
- Place at least 1 generator per hot spot (fryer, griddle, stove, etc.).
– Place at least 1 can per m2 of hot spot.
Features
- Storage/operating temperature generators: -40 to +85°C.
- Generator resistance: 0,7Ω.
- Toxicity and corrosivity: NONE; CAS N° 584-08-07; Oral LD50 (rat): 1850 mg/Kgm.
- There are 1, 4, 6 and 10 canister generator supports.
- Connection of generators through sequential card. Each card supports a maximum of 10 generators.
- The ZAFIRPWS2 external power supply can power a maximum of 1 sequential card.
- The ZAFIRPWS5 external power supply can power a maximum of 2 sequential cards.
